Our Story
We relocated to Seixal in spring of 2025 and live on-site in the small traditional cottage to the rear of the guesthouse

We're a professional couple, Stuart and Faye, from London, England. Since our children have grown up and left home, we spent several years looking for a place to base our career change - and to call home.
We've travelled around the world in our search, and after our first visit to Maderia, we knew this was where we wanted to live.
Several visits later we decided it was time to take the plunge. During 2023-2025, we sold our UK home and bought a property that we felt was suitable for our hospitality business in the village of our dreams - Seixal, Madeira, Portugal.
While we converted it into a guesthouse and hostel, we still did our old jobs and lived in a van! You can read all about the highs and lows of this madness here
